Who We Are
Since 1989, St. Louise Regional Hospital has been caring for the residents in Santa Clara and San Benito Counties by offering a wide range of high-quality inpatient and outpatient medical specialties. St. Louise has 93 beds, is a Designated Primary Stroke Center, and is the only acute care hospital in the area. Located in Gilroy, St. Louise is one of the largest employers in the community and we are particularly proud of our virtually flawless Joint Commission inspections. Whether for maternity care, surgery or a medical emergency, the hospital’s reputation for quality, compassionate care is renowned in the region. St. Louise is proud to operate the De Paul Health Center in Morgan Hill featuring Urgent Care, Breast Care and medical office suites.
St. Louise Regional Hospital has also teamed up with Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and O'Connor Hospital and is now part of Santa Clara Valley Healthcare. Our three hospitals and multiple clinics are now operating as one healthcare delivery system, sharing our expertise for a healthier Santa Clara Valley. By connecting our hospital systems, we can share our knowledge and resources, making healthcare in the valley even stronger.
Our employees are our most important resource and are committed to making a difference in the lives of our patients who come from the whole community. We know that higher levels of employee engagement come from compassionate leadership, so we take pride in being authentic, present, holding everyone accountable, leading with integrity, and showing empathy. We work hard but have fun by purposefully celebrating achievements regularly and by volunteering in the community often. We are proud of our family atmosphere where everyone looks up, smiles and says “hello” to all passersby. Our volunteer team is an important component of our positive culture with over 160 members who gave 13,500 hours of service this past year.

TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES FOR CURRENT EMPLOYEE
The County of Santa Clara has always provided the services that hold the fabric of our society together. While cities in California primarily exist to protect property, counties exist to protect people and the community in which they live.
The approximately 20,000 county employees provide excellent medical services, public health protection, behavioral health care, assurance that food is healthy and available, environmental protection, child and adult protection services, family reunification, assistance to those in need, homelessness prevention and treatment, park services, libraries, emergency response to disasters, protection of minority communities and those under threat, access to a fair criminal justice system, and scores of other services.
Many of those services are expected by our residents and often are taken for granted. However, they require a lot of work from very committed employees. We ask our employees to keep the needs of their clients as their highest priority at work. In turn, our employees have the opportunity to work for an employer that provides the support and direction needed to do so in an innovative, dynamic and compassionate work environment.
